The project of “Semiconductor Lighting Project†in the new material field of the National 863 Program, which was undertaken by Jilin Dongguang Ruibao Car Light Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Ruibao Car Light Co., Ltd.), has been developed for 2 years. A lot of time, finally achieved phased results, the first in China to develop a full LED headlamps.
The lamp is developed based on the Pentium B50 model of FAW Car Company. The whole lamp adopts 41 LED light sources, among which 3 high-power white LED light sources used in the low beam light, combined with triple concentrated circular lens, form a unique match. Light design and visual effects, light distribution requirements to meet relevant regulatory requirements; high beam uses two LED light sources, one of which uses lens light distribution, and the other uses mirrors to assist light distribution, the illumination value meets national regulations. The position light uses 14 white LED light sources and the turn signal uses 22 amber LED light sources.
Compared with traditional headlamps, the LED headlamp innovations are as follows:
(1) In the appearance of the headlights, through the configuration of the integrated light source of the LED, and with the relevant optical components, the maximum illumination value can reach 288lx, while the traditional halogen light source is generally around 100lx, which cannot be compared.
(2) In the aspect of the structure of the lamp, since the volume of the LED light source is very small, the layout inside the lamp is more random, so that the overall volume of the LED headlight can be reduced.
(3) Since the LED headlamps all use LED cold light source, the heat generation is low, and the temperature difference in the lamp cavity does not change much, so it is not easy to accumulate fog on the inner wall of the lamp cavity.
(4) The LED headlamp has a high beam power of 30W and a low beam of 45W, so it can save 40% energy compared with the traditional halogen light source (high beam 65W, low beam 55W).
(5) LED lights respond quickly, no need for hot start time, color temperature is more than 5000k, closer to daylight, making driving safer.
(6) The service life is long, which can exceed 10,000 hours, while the life of traditional halogen lamps is generally around 300 hours.
The LED headlamps have passed the environmental temperature test and light distribution test, and have basically met the requirements of the national standard for "LED headlamps for automobiles" (for review).
At present, LED headlamps are still in the development stage worldwide. Japan's Otaru Headlights Co., Ltd. and Hella Corporation of Germany have launched concept products, and the Toyota 2008 Lexus LS600Ch has become the world's first part of the application of LED headlights. The model, this LED headlamp has also become the world's first commercial LED headlamp. Then the AudiR8 model introduced a full LED headlight, which made all the functions of the LED headlights a reality. With the continuous introduction of all-LED headlamps in international automakers, the application of LED car headlights will become more and more popular. Due to the late start of research and development of LED light source in China, which restricts its development in the field of vehicle lights, the successful development of this lamp has shortened the gap between China's LED headlamp field and the international advanced level, which means that LED headlamps are going to industrialization.
