Microsoft withdraws some Xbox One restrictions

According to Microsoft's speech on Wednesday, the following changes have taken place in the Xbox One policy:

1. Microsoft announced earlier that Xbox One needs to be networked at least once every 24 hours before continuing to play. Today, Xbox players can play offline without limit.

2. In terms of “supporting different account logins”, Microsoft’s previous policy was: Users can log in to other game consoles and access digital resource libraries. In this case, however, the system will check the connection every hour. If it is not connected, it will not be able to continue playing, but it will still be able to watch live TV, Blu-ray and DVD movies. Today, Microsoft has removed restrictions on Xbox networking, which means that users can play games on other hosts.

3. In "Share games with friends", the previous policy is: Users can lend their games to other people, but they must first set the latter to "friends", and then wait 30 days before "friends" Can enjoy the use of the game, the use of time limit. In particular, users can only lend the game once. Today, Microsoft will no longer impose any restrictions.

4. The "home game" mode will be abolished. Before this, Microsoft announced that: After users install the game on the Xbox One hard drive, they do not need to insert game discs each time they play the game. Today, Microsoft has eliminated the restrictions that Xbox One must have on the Internet, which means that in the future, when users play each game, they must insert the corresponding game CD, otherwise they will not be able to play the game. The consequence of this is that the previous model that "Xbox users can share a game with 10 family members" will be abolished.

5. In terms of game resale, Microsoft’s previous policy was that users could resell the games—but the merchants engaged in the recovery of second-hand games must obtain the consent of the game distributor, and the recycling price must also be agreed with the publisher. In addition, merchants that recycle used games must apply to Microsoft for registration, and Microsoft will not charge retailers, publishers, and users for royalty. However, in its speech on Wednesday, Microsoft did not explicitly say that it would cancel this restrictive policy.
