China's biosensor research project has been launched

On the afternoon of August 14th, the kick-off meeting of the research and development team of ordered metal nanoparticle arrays and their biosensor devices led by the scientific and technological innovation cross and cooperation team led by Researcher Li Yue of the Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences was held on the 3rd, Institute of Solid State Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences The building was successfully held, the team members participated in the meeting, and reported the basic situation of the project and the preliminary research work. Coming from Kong Minghui, Director of the Division of Technology Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zou Shiping, Director of the Human Education Department of Hefei Research Institute, Cai Weiping, Director of the Institute of Solid State, Meng Guowen, Deputy Director, Professor Yu Shuhong, University of Science and Technology of China, and Bai Xuedong, Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Wang Liangzhi from Beijing Institute of Technology, Director Wang Hongzhi from the Medical Physics Center of Hefei Research Institute, and Professor Li Cuncheng from Jinan University formed an expert group to attend the kick-off meeting and listen to the report. The meeting was chaired by Director Zou Shiping.

The cross-research team of ordered metal nanoparticle arrays and their biosensors was selected as the 2014 Science and Technology Innovation Crossing and Cooperation Team of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was established on the basis of the Hefei Institute of Material Science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the relevant groups of Peking University and the University of Science and Technology of China. Members include: Li Yue, Institute of Solid State Research, Hefei Research Institute, Qi Limin, Peking University, Li Liangbin, University of Science and Technology of China, Ye Changhui, Institute of Technology and Biology, Huang Qing, Institute of Technology and Biology, Duan Guotao, Institute of Solid State Research. The team will be based on the intersection and integration of nanoscience and technology, life sciences and medical diagnosis, facing the national needs of major disease diagnosis and taking advantage of the multidisciplinary intersection to explore the design and synthesis of metal nanoparticle arrays with light-sensitive properties. Develop new technologies and methods for detecting biomolecules of metal nanoparticles light effect biomolecules, and develop new biosensor prototype devices based on nanoparticle array optical effects. The team expects to obtain a number of independent intellectual property rights methods and technologies in metal particle array assembly and device-based applications, forming an international first-class research team with its own characteristics.

At the meeting, Director Cai Weiping first gave a speech. He thanked the experts for their support to the ordered cross-team project of ordered metal nanoparticle arrays and biosensor devices, and sincerely looked forward to the experts' valuable suggestions and opinions. Director Kong Minghui has eager expectations for the launch and implementation of the project. Subsequently, Researcher Li Yue made a detailed introduction to the project, mainly elaborating the research background and basis of ordered metal nanoparticle arrays, as well as its application prospects in biosensor devices. The members of the project team, Professor Qi Limin of Peking University and Researcher Huang Qing of the Institute of Technology and Biology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, gave detailed reports on their respective preliminary research work and research ideas related to the project. Finally, the experts at the meeting fully affirmed the innovation and necessity of the project, and provided valuable opinions on the sustainable development of the team, the level of scientific research and the construction of the technical team.
