The gas stove is the second energy efficiency standard after the gas water heater in China's hardware industry. There are hundreds of millions of households and catering companies in China. In response, Zhang Mingwei, director of the National Gas Appliances Quality Supervision and Inspection Center (Foshan), said that the standard station has reached the commanding heights of global technology, raised the technical threshold of enterprises, and helped to continuously advance the technological progress of the industry.

Li Aixian, executive vice president of the China National Institute of Standardization Resources and Environment Branch, recalled that China's implementation of energy efficiency standards over the past 10 years, said that at present, China has established an energy efficiency management system supported by regulations, policies, standards, etc., in which a total of energy efficiency standards were issued. 62 items involving household electrical appliances, lighting fixtures, commercial and industrial equipment and other fields. 29 products were marked with energy efficiency labels. A large number of advanced energy-saving technologies and stable quality products entered the market and were continuously accepted and recognized by consumers. According to Liu Runfeng, vice chairman of the China National Hardware Association and general secretary of the gas appliance branch, the implementation of energy efficiency standards for gas stoves saves a lot of energy, brings considerable economic and social benefits, and contributes to the construction of “China Blue”. At present, China has implemented a production license system for gas cookers, and there are 600 to 700 certified companies. Liu Runfeng also added that in recent years, domestic gas stove companies, especially key enterprises, have carried out a great deal of technological innovation in the utilization of thermal energy efficiency. According to the requirements of the new standard, 30% to 40% of the backbone enterprises can meet the requirements of the first and second-level energy efficiency. Liu Runfeng said that in the next step, the China National Hardware Association will organize various forms of forums to use the Internet to recommend innovative gas stove products to the community, increase consumer education efforts, and guide more and more consumers to use more energy-efficient products.
