Multiple sensor standards expected to be completed this year

Recently, the IoT smart sensor and industrial production and application standards working group meeting organised by the Institute of Instrument Technology and Integrated Technology and Economics of Machinery Industry was held in Chongqing. The standard responsible units and participants from the working group participated in the meeting.

The meeting conducted a technical review of draft national standards such as "Smart Sensor Part 1: General" and other arrangements, and arranged a schedule for the development of standards. "Smart Sensors Part 1: General Regulations" is the country's first batch of revised and revised plan standards issued in 2012. The planned completion time is 2014.

There are several sensor standards for this batch of standard revision plans that were finalized this year. Including Sensor Network Identification Resolution and Management Specification, Sensor Network Testing Low-speed Wireless Sensor Network Media Access Control and Physical Layer, Sensor Network Testing Low-speed Wireless Sensor Network Layer and Application Support Sublayer, and General Requirements for Sensor Network Testing 》, “Sensor Network Communication and Information Exchange Part 2: Media Access Control and Physical Layer Specifications for High-Reliability Sensor Networks”, “Sensor Network Gateway Technical Requirements”, “Sensor Network Information Security Network Transmission Security Technical Specifications”, and “Smart Sensors” Part 2: Application Rules.

During the same period, the Institute organized the second meeting of the IoT smart sensor and industrial production and application standards working group. The team leaders from the working group and 23 experts of the standard responsible units participated in the meeting. The heads of the standards working groups reported on the progress of the working group, and the standards responsible units reported on the progress of drafting standards. The meeting reviewed the contents of the 16 draft standards for the IoT smart sensors and industrial production applications, and discussed the harmonization and harmonization among the standards. The meeting decided to improve the draft standards by the heads of working groups and the standards responsible units. The next meeting is scheduled to be held at the end of July or early August. The next meeting will review the draft standards and will form a consultation draft after the meeting. The meeting proceeded in a warm atmosphere and completed its intended goal. It was a complete success.
