A power source is a device that supplies voltage, and other forms of devices that can be converted into electrical energy are called power supplies. Generators convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, and dry batteries convert chemical energy into electrical energy. The generator and the battery itself are not charged. Its two poles have positive and negative charges respectively. The positive and negative charges generate voltage (the current is formed by the charge moving under the action of voltage). The charge conductor has its own origin and generates current. It is only necessary to add a voltage.
