A power source is a device that supplies voltage, and other forms of devices that can be converted into electrical energy are called power supplies. Generators convert mechanical energy into electrical energy, and dry batteries convert chemical energy into electrical energy. The generator and the battery itself are not charged. Its two poles have positive and negative charges respectively. The positive and negative charges generate voltage (the current is formed by the charge moving under the action of voltage). The charge conductor has its own origin and generates current. It is only necessary to add a voltage. When the two poles of the battery are connected to the conductor, the positive and negative charges are released in order to generate a current. When the charge is exhausted, the charge (pressure) is eliminated. A dry battery or the like is called a power source. A device that converts alternating current into direct current through a transformer and a rectifier is called a rectified power supply. An electronic device that provides a signal is called a signal source. The transistor can amplify the signal sent from the front and transmit the amplified signal to the subsequent circuit. The transistor can also be seen as a signal source for the circuit behind it. Rectified power supplies and signal sources are sometimes called power supplies.
