He held the price of the incandescent bulbs, energy-saving lamps and LED lamps placed on the shelf and said: 40-watt incandescent bulbs have only 2 yuan per bulb, 10-watt energy-saving bulbs cost 15 yuan each, and 5 watts. LED lights sell for 80 yuan, ordinary people certainly will not spend so high prices to buy.

A related company official told reporters that although the country has been promoting LED lights for more than two years, it is still making slow progress in household consumption. In addition to price factors, the disruption of the market caused by the unscrupulous production of shoddy products by some small manufacturers is also an important reason. For example, some small factories produce LED lights that use poor heat sinks, which can affect the life of LED lights. In addition, some high-brightness lamps should be made of metal, but the use of cheaper PC products is more prone to problems. The responsible person suggested that the relevant state departments should promptly introduce preferential measures for ordinary households to purchase LED lights to encourage people to buy; for some substandard products produced by small enterprises, the relevant departments should also be punished strictly to purify the market.
