The LED Alliance held an annual meeting in Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. The heads of Chongqing 30 home LED manufacturers attended the meeting and invited the leaders of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission to attend the meeting.
Professor Chen made a summary report on behalf of the Alliance. Looking back at 2007, under the leadership of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the Alliance has done a lot of work, mainly: the annual meeting of the Alliance was held at the beginning of the year, summing up the main work in 2006:
(1) Organizing the person in charge of Chongqing LED Enterprise to hold the annual meeting of Chongqing LED Industry Development;
(2) Held a conference on Chongqing semiconductor lighting development at Xinghe Electric Co., Ltd.; assisted the Municipal Science and Technology Commission to convene a conference on promoting semiconductor lighting in the city;
(3) Two high-power LED packaging seminars;
(4) Organizing the person in charge of Chongqing LED industry to participate in the National Alliance meeting;
(5) At present, it is organizing the LED enterprises of our city to publicize the local standards of "General Technical Conditions for LED Decorative Lighting" and provide technical training for LED enterprises in our city;
(6) Assisting the Municipal Science and Technology Commission High-tech Department in the management of Chongqing's scientific and technological projects;
(7) Established a professional semiconductor lighting website in Chongqing to assist the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Commission in editing the “Chongqing Semiconductor Lighting Project†briefing;
After the establishment of the center, it has cooperated with Chongqing University, Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, Chongqing Municipal Municipal Committee Lighting Department and Chongqing Municipal Lighting Administration to undertake three research projects of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission. During the period, the “Chongqing LED Technology Development Plan†and “Chongqing LED Industry Development Plan†were proposed; the “Current and Domestic LED Industry Development Research Report†and “Chongqing LED Industry Development Research Report†were provided to the Municipal Science and Technology Commission each year; General technical conditions for LED decorative lighting" local standards; currently under construction of LED lighting engineering comprehensive demonstration project; proposed work plan for 2008:
(1) Organize Chongqing LED enterprises to participate in Chongqing High-tech Trade Fair.
(2) Organizing enterprises to participate in the 2nd National Semiconductor Lighting Competition and Exhibition.
(3) The Alliance is actively preparing for organizing the Chongqing LED Forum, hoping that the majority of alliance companies will prepare well in advance.
(4) Prepare the LED function lighting demonstration area and LED green lighting product display area in Chongqing.
