common problem:
(1) Parts are not completely degreasing or stored improperly during machining. Dust falls on the surface. After a long time, the dust and grease are mixed together and it is difficult to remove them, resulting in inconspicuous fine oil spots. When plating Air bubbles stay on it to form pinholes.
(2) When parts are polished, abrasives, polishing pastes, etc. are embedded in the micro-pits on the surface, which are difficult to clean, and the pits cannot be deposited on the plating layer and produce pinholes.
(3) Incomplete pickling and rust removal of parts or excessively long pickling time has caused excessive corrosion, and the surface is scattered with carbon-rich spots. The plating layer can only be deposited around these non-conductive particles to form pinholes during plating.
Approach:
(1) Adopt a reasonable pre-treatment process to ensure the quality of the pre-treatment. The pre-treatment process is: hanging parts → chemical degreasing → hot water washing → running water washing → pickling and rust removal → two running water washing → electric degreasing →Hot water washing→flowing water washing→weak corrosion→two flowing water washing, strictly implement the process operation procedures, strengthen the maintenance and management of the tank liquid.
(2) The surface of the parts is not clean before plating, if there are oily dust particles and other non-conductive particles attached. It can be scrubbed with a brush moistened with alkaline water, and then electro-degreased, and the small parts should be rolled.
(3) When an oil layer appears on the liquid surface of the chemical degreasing or electrochemical degreasing tank, it should be removed in time. Pay attention to thoroughly remove the polishing paste after grinding and polishing parts.
(4) The pickling time must be controlled well. Once the rust is removed, it should be taken out and cleaned immediately. In order to prevent over-corrosion of parts, a certain amount of corrosion inhibitor should be added to the pickling solution.
