(1) Types of high voltage switchgear

The high-voltage switchgear can be divided into fixed type and removable type according to the structure. There are mainly KGN and XGN series in the fixed switchgear, and the old model GG-1A is basically eliminated. The removable switchgear mainly has JYN and KYN series; there is no isolation switch in the removable switchgear, because the circuit breaker can form a disconnection point after moving, so no isolation switch is needed.

The high-voltage switchgear is divided into the incoming cabinet, the feeder cabinet, the voltage transformer cabinet, the high-voltage capacitor cabinet (GR-1 type), the energy metering cabinet (PJ series), and the high-voltage ring network cabinet (HXGN type).

1. KYN series high voltage switchgear

KYN series metal armored switchgear is a new generation of switchgear designed and developed according to domestic characteristics. The KYN-10 type switchgear consists of four parts: the handcart room, the busbar room, the cable room and the relay instrument room.

When the equipment is damaged or repaired, the handcart can be pulled out at any time, and then pushed into the same type of handcart, the power can be restored, so it has the advantages of convenient maintenance, safety, and high reliability of power supply.

The switchgear has “five-proof” measures in its structural design. The so-called "five defenses" means preventing accidental jumps and closing circuit breakers, preventing the load from pulling and closing the isolating switch, preventing the grounding line from being charged, preventing the grounding wire from being isolated and preventing the personnel from entering the charging interval.

Because there is a “five-proof” chain, the handcart can only be pulled out or inserted when the circuit breaker is in the open position. When the handcart is in the working position, the primary and secondary circuits are connected; when the handcart is in the test position, the primary circuit is disconnected and the secondary circuit is still connected; when the handcart is in the disconnected position, the primary and secondary circuits are disconnected. . The circuit breaker is mechanically interlocked with the grounding switch. When the circuit breaker is in the trip position, the handcart is pulled out and the grounding switch can be closed. When the grounding switch is in the closing position, the handcart can only be pushed to the test position, effectively preventing the grounding wire from closing.

2. XGN2-10 type switchgear

The XGN2-10 box type fixed metal-enclosed switchgear is a new type of product. It adopts ZN28A-10 series vacuum circuit breaker and GN30-10 rotary isolation switch, which has high technical performance and novel design. The instrument room, busbar room, circuit breaker room and cable room in the cabinet are separated and closed, which makes the structure more reasonable, safe, reliable, and easy to operate and maintain. A busbar isolation sleeve is installed between the cabinet and the cabinet to avoid a cabinet failure and affect the adjacent cabinet.

In order to meet the requirements of different wiring, the primary circuit of the high-voltage switchgear consists of a variety of primary wiring schemes consisting of an isolating switch, a load switch, a circuit breaker, a fuse, a current transformer, a voltage transformer, a lightning arrester, and a capacitor. The secondary circuit of each high-voltage switchgear also forms a variety of secondary wiring schemes according to the different requirements of measurement, protection, control, automatic device and operating mechanism. For the convenience of selection, the first and second wiring schemes refer to their fixed numbers.

(2) Selection of high voltage switchgear

1. Select high voltage switchgear model

The model of the high voltage switchgear is selected mainly according to the load level. Under normal circumstances, the first and second stage load selection switchgear, such as KYN2, JYN1 type switchgear, three-stage load selection fixed switchgear, such as KGN type switchgear.

2. Select switch cabinet circuit plan number

For each type of switchgear, there are dozens or even hundreds of circuit scheme numbers. The corresponding switch cabinet circuit scheme number can be selected according to the main wiring scheme. When selecting the secondary wiring scheme, first determine whether it is AC or DC control, and then select the secondary wiring scheme number according to the purpose of the cabinet and the requirements of metering, protection, automatic device, and operating mechanism. However, it should be noted that the primary equipment in the complete set must be verified according to the requirements of the high-voltage equipment mentioned above.
