Precautions for the use of intelligent electromagnetic flowmeters

Before the intelligent electromagnetic flowmeter is put into operation, we must look at whether the flowmeter can operate normally. The following problems should be noted in the use of the flowmeter:

First, trial run

Whether it is a newly selected design or a newly installed flowmeter measurement system; after our installation inspection, after confirmation, the test operation should be carried out.

In the commissioning work, we must follow the following procedures:

1. First, turn off the on/off valve and regulator of the flow meter; then, slowly open the bypass valve.

2. Finally, start the flowmeter work.

In starting the flowmeter work, you will encounter some problems:

1. For the flow meter with electrical remote transmission, first connect the power line and the good signal line to preheat.

Our solution is to slowly open the on/off valve in front of the flowmeter; then slowly open the regulator after the flowmeter; finally, slowly close the bypass valve to operate the flowmeter at normal flow.

2 When the temperature of the fluid to be measured is high, and the temperature difference from the ambient temperature is very large.

Our solution is: preheat the metering system at this time; make the flow meter and piping system slowly warm up, so as to ensure the normal operation of the flowmeter.

3. After that, we observe and record the change status of various operating parameters, such as temperature, pressure and so on.

If the system does not have much vibration, noise and leakage; and after a period of stable operation, the test run is over.

Second, normal operation

After we have been running normally, we can put it into normal operation.

During the operation, the use and maintenance of the flowmeter; the operator should do the following:

1. Regularly inspect and maintain the measurement system.

The operator checks the flow meter, valve and piping system.

The maintenance of the equipment by the operator is mainly: a. safety equipment such as safety valve, restrictor valve and alarm; b. flow auxiliary instrument such as flow display instrument, recording device and compensation device; c. filter, air eliminator and other ancillary equipment .

2. To start and shut down the flowmeter, we must follow the sequence of the test run.

3. In normal operation, the operator should pay attention to the pressure, temperature, flow, viscosity and other parameters of the measured medium at all times; see if these parameters are in line with the flowmeter.
