Sony China announced that it will launch a 5,899-yuan PS VR "Virtual Reality Paradise" package on January 19. If you are a PS Plus member, Sony China also announced yesterday that it will launch the PSVR priority buying activity for PS Plus members at 11:00 on January 18th.
The special offers for this event include:
PlayStation VR Collection (3699 yuan): PSVR; PlayStation Camera; PlayStation Move x 2
"Virtual Reality Paradise" + PS VR Set (3099 yuan): "Virtual Reality Paradise" Standard Edition; PSVR
PS4|PS VR "Virtual Reality Paradise" set (5899 yuan): A new PS4 console (500GB); a PlayStation VR; a PlayStation Camera; two PlayStation Move motion controllers; a "Virtual Reality Paradise" game CD.
The event will be placed on Sony's China WeChat account number (sonycn_001) at 11pm on January 18 through online reservation, on a first-come-first-served basis. The deposit is $600, valid only for 23:59 as of January 3, 2017. PS Plus member. Non-PS Plus members will need to wait until January 5th for 5899 yuan PSVR "Virtual Reality Paradise" package. Note: Sony only announced the launch of PSVR's "Virtual Reality Paradise" kit on January 19th. Xiao Bian is not sure whether Sony will launch two other packages for other non-members.
At present, Sony's official store's National Bank PS4 is priced at 2,199 yuan (500G standard suite); and PlayStation Move (two), PlayStation Camera and PlayStation VR are bundled at 3699 yuan. Add up to RMB 5898 yuan. So for the 5899 yuan PS VR "Virtual Reality Paradise" package, the difference lies mainly in more than three months of PS PLUS member redemption card and the opportunity to purchase PSVR (PSVR is currently sold out, if Sony does not launch the other two Packages, non-members can only choose 5899 yuan PS VR "Virtual Reality Paradise" package).
Note: All participating users need to use My Sony member account to complete binding with Sony China WeChat and enter the verification code in the event page. Verified users can make PSVR online ordering appointments. The event starts at 11 o'clock on January 18th.
