2012 LCD TV backlight module or imported high power LED

LEDinside recently pointed out that with the simplification of design and the reduction of LED usage, the power and brightness of LEDs will also increase. By 2012, high-power LEDs are expected to be used in LCD TV backlight modules.

In the research report, LEDinside, a market research organization, predicts that the global LED-backlit LCD TV shipment penetration rate will reach 18% in 2010. In 2011, the LED-backlit LCD TV penetration rate is estimated to reach 43%, and in 2012 it will exceed 60%. At present, the LED backlight structure of the LCD TV is designed to be the mainstream of the light-emitting side of the upper and lower sides. It is expected that the left and right sides will be illuminated or the lower side will be mainly illuminated in 2011. With the simplified design and reduced LED usage, the LED Both power and brightness will also increase.

LEDinside said that in 2012, if there is a backlight design with only one side of the left side and one LED strip, the LED used at that time will be a high power LED. As far as the LCD TV project is concerned, currently in the LED backlight structure, it is mainly divided into a side light design and a direct design. According to LEDinside's forecast, the proportion of LED backlight modules with side-light design in 2010 is about 92%, and the proportion of direct-type design models is about 8%. However, by 2011, the proportion of the side-light design will be reduced to 90%, and the direct-down ratio will be increased to 10%; in 2012, the proportion of the side-light design is estimated to be 86%, and the direct-down ratio is estimated to be 14%. .

It is understood that in 2009, the LCD TV side-lit LED backlight design structure is based on 4 side illumination, a total of 6 LED strips, the LED specifications (each) used 0.4 watts, brightness less than 24 lumens. In 2010, it developed into a structure with four LED strips on the upper and lower sides. The LED power used was still 0.4 watts and the brightness was 24-30 lumens. In order to continuously reduce the backlight design, TV brands and system manufacturers, and panel manufacturers are still developing new backlight design structures. It is expected that by 2011, it will be developed to use two LED strips for illumination on the left and right sides, or a backlight design with only two LEDs. As the amount of LEDs is reduced, the LED power used is amplified to 0.6 watts and the brightness is increased to 56-62 lumens.

LEDinside expects that in 2012, the industry may have a backlight design that uses only one side of the light and only one LED strip. At that time, the LEDs used in the TV backlight module may be dominated by high-power LEDs. It is understood that the current high-power LED on the market, the power is at least more than 1 watt, and the brightness is more than 100 lumens.

Heat Shrink Tubing

Heat shrinkable tubes help you achieve the electrical insulation, mechanical protection, environmental seal and stress relief you need in applications such as rear end seal, split point and connector to cable transfer.

It can be safely used in place of baling, molding or gluing.

When heated, the heat shrinkable tube will fit into the base size and shape of the substrate to speed up and simplify the installation process.

With high expansion, the most damaged cable enclosures can be repaired without removing the connector. Heat shrinkable tubes come in a wide variety of materials, colours and sizes and can be produced in a variety of shapes such as rolls, 1m lengths and cut pieces.
