Powerbeats 3 debuted on the iPhone 7 in September of this year. This wireless headset from Beats is now officially on sale. Following the launch of the Beats Solo3 headset and Apple’s own AirPods wireless headset, Powerbeats is the third product to use Apple's proprietary W1 chip.
According to Apple, the W1 chip can help extend battery life. Powerbeats 2 can only work for 6 hours after a single charge, while the new Powerbeats 3 can achieve 12 hours of battery life, which is more than double the previous generation.
