Molex, a supplier of interconnect products, announces the introduction of new LED array lampholder substrate technology with complete electrical, mechanical and optical connectivity to deliver the best performance and application.
In existing LED array solutions, LED array metal printed circuit boards or ceramic array substrates often require compromises between cost-saving small lampholder substrate sizes and the required optical performance, while providing integrated Electrical, mechanical and optical properties for use in luminaire systems. Molex's new technology shifts connectivity and ease of use from LED array substrates to a separate plastic substrate for improved thermal, optical and mechanical interconnection. This plastic substrate can be combined with an LED array package in a variety of ways to provide an LED array top surface with a variety of connection options.
The new technology developed in conjunction with Bridgelux has been integrated into Bridgelux's recently released Vero array. This new interconnect technology is expected to make future LED array products easier to integrate and more cost-effective, allowing lighting OEMs to reduce system cost of LED luminaire design, speed time to market, and increase reliability.
These technical improvements include thermal pads, a MolexPico-EZmate connector, and improved mechanical attachment and optical reference characteristics while maintaining extremely low side heights. The new product's solder tab design simplifies direct soldering procedures and improves robustness compared to existing LED array packages that require soldering in aluminum or ceramic materials. The Pico-EZmate connector connector option provides a solderless electrical interface and is available for on-site service and replacement.
This plastic case interconnect technology is based on Molex's technology for consumer electronics and other mass markets, and Molex will offer a wide range of UL-certified Pico-EZmate plug-in wiring harness products that can take advantage of the entire Vero product line at high cost A cost-effective way to easily implement a robust interconnect system.
As LCD display in YFJ company that we usually use it to military grade battery ,especially Lithium-ion batteries ,for these battery applications ,we have obvious advantage is that we focus more on shor circuit protection which we follow the US military standard.
Short circuit protection:The following test shall be performed. Charge batteriesas specified in ; use of 4.6.3 is permitted. Measure and record the OCV. Short each battery across all the positive and negative terminals with a total external resistance not greater than 50 milliohms. After one hour remove the short from across the terminals. Measure and record the OCV. Stabilize batteries at the normal conditions of 4.3.1 for not less than 2 hours. Chargebatteries in accordance with 4.6; use of 4.6.3 is permitted. Stabilize batteries at normal conditions for not less than 2 hours, then discharge the battery in accordance with 4.7.2.3. The battery shall meet the requirements of 3.7.2.3.
