New energy vehicle charging "on-demand distribution" Shenzhen sample: 2018 will enter the "big outbreak" first year?

The construction of charging piles around the country is "fast moving forward." However, some hidden dangers such as the unreasonable layout of the construction and the pattern that does not meet the market requirements have gradually emerged.

Yu Dexiang, chairman of Special Call New Energy Co., Ltd., proposed recently that 70% of the charging piles in the future will be phased out. One of the reasons is that the future car charging is faced with upgrading of technology and transformation of products. The single-pile product must be removed, recalled, and transformed. The difficulty is no less than "reconstruction of buildings."

In December 2017, Shenzhen officially began implementing the "Technical Requirements for Flexible Charge Reactors for Electric Vehicles." This is China's first local standard for flexible charging reactor technology for electric vehicles.

Not only in Shenzhen, on January 7, 2018, the smart flexible charging bow of Chengdu No. 001 debuted. The maximum charging power of the Zhiyue flexible charging bow bicycle can reach 450kW, and the battery of the bus can be filled in 8 minutes. .

Liu Yongdong, deputy director of the China Electricity Council’s Standardization Center, told reporters in the 21st Century Business Herald that the original charging equipment was a parking space to build a pile, called decentralized charging. With the expansion of the scale of the electric vehicle industry, the market will seek more intensive solutions, centralized, high-power charging, power distribution, etc. Many charging operation service providers are gradually laying out in this direction.

In 2018, how to find a more reasonable and more efficient new energy vehicle charging mode will become a difficult problem placed in front of local governments. The flexible charge stack mode directly charges the “charging anxiety” of recharging new energy vehicles with long charging time and different charging power, and will be a new choice for local governments and charging pile companies.

Shenzhen sample on demand

In December 2017, Shenzhen officially began implementing the "Technical Requirements for Flexible Charge Reactors for Electric Vehicles."

According to the definition of this technical requirement, the flexible charging stack refers to all or part of the charging modules of the electric vehicle charging station. Through the power distribution unit, the charging module is dynamically allocated according to the actual charging power of the electric vehicle, and the station level can be integrated. The monitoring system provides centralized control of charging equipment, power distribution equipment and auxiliary equipment and can be a system for charging multiple electric vehicles at the same time.

Li Zhigang, the chief engineer of Aoxun, a listed company in Shenzhen, is the main drafter of this technical requirement.

In an exclusive interview with a reporter from the 21st Century Business Herald, he pointed out that the flexible charging reactor does not have a high “ceiling” in technology, and it is more of a concept.

Attron’s technology core is the “rechargeable reactor”. It is easy to understand that the charging stack can allocate the required charging power according to different vehicle needs. The same device can not only meet the 40KW battery charge, but also meet the 100KW battery charge, so as to ensure that each vehicle can be charged with maximum power.

In the underground parking lot of the Shenzhen Aotexun Power Building, 21st Century Business Herald reporter saw the real body of the charging pile. A standard charging reactor takes up approximately 20 parking spaces. One parking space is equipped with power distribution equipment, one parking space is for charging the main body of the charging stack, and the rest is the charging terminal. The 800 KW matrix type flexible charging reactor has an average of approximately 40 KW or more. The charging power can simultaneously provide 16 different power electric vehicles with charging requirements that match their power.

Near noon, electric vehicles were gradually charged. Li Zhigang introduced to reporters how much power each car requires and the system will automatically allocate it.

He further explained that at this stage, different models have different powers, and the charging reactor is equivalent to putting all the power in a tank, and how much it needs to be taken, which can greatly increase the utilization of the equipment. The problem with fixed-power charging posts is that they either have high investment and low utilization rates, causing waste, or they will not be able to meet the needs of some models.

"If an electric vehicle needs 120 kW of power, we can give 120 kW. Otherwise, it may need to find a charging station that meets certain parameters, or endure longer charging times."

At present, the maximum power of Autotron's single-charge gun can reach 187.5KW, which can basically meet the charging requirements of passenger cars on the market.

Li Zhigang said, "In the future, with the increase of charging power, the body of the charger will not need to be moved, and only the terminal needs to be replaced. The overall change is small."

In December 2016, Altex's first charging reactor was built and put into operation. Up to now, more than 70 charging reactors have been built. Among them, the best-running operation is a charging reactor located in Shajing District, Bao'an, Shenzhen. The monthly charging capacity reaches 170,000 degrees, which translates into approximately 900 vehicles.

Li Zhigang introduced that the current operation is a similar gas station operations, management model, a station equipped with four service personnel.

But when it comes to promotion issues, Yuan Gang, ADT’s deputy general manager, told the 21st Century Business Herald reporter that the current policy level encourages the construction of charging piles. Most of them are based on the number of charging piles. The actual assessment should be the service. ability.

"If we can count how many vehicles we can serve as the number of charging piles, the promotion of our new technologies will be a huge boost." Yuan Gang said.

The prospect of high-power charging

According to the annual data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in 2017, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China completed 774,000 vehicles and 777,000 vehicles, respectively, an increase of 53.8% and 53.3% respectively year-on-year.

At this point, the total number of new energy vehicles in the country reached approximately 1.53 million. While new energy vehicles are booming, charging is still a major concern for potential buyers. A research report of CITIC Securities pointed out that as the most important link and basic guarantee in the industrial chain of electric vehicle promotion and application, the construction of charging piles has been seriously lagging behind.

The official plan proposes that by 2020, the ratio of new energy vehicle piles should be close to 1:1, and according to a latest data from the China Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Promotion Alliance, the current ratio is 3.8:1.

To this end, plans have been issued for the construction of charging piles. The latest release policy was Nanjing. On January 16, 2018, the Nanjing Municipal Government announced the “13th Five-Year Plan for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure in Nanjing”, specifying that during the 2017-2020 period, the city plans to build new charging stations. 1753 seats, 20196 charging piles.

In addition, according to the plans previously released by some cities, by 2020, Guangdong will strive to build about 1,490 centralized charging stations and 350,000 distributed charging piles; Zhejiang proposes more than 800 centralized charging stations and distributed charging piles 21 More than 10,000; Shanghai proposed that the scale of charging facilities should reach 211,000, and there should be 68 bus depots with charging functions.

In the upsurge of charging piles and charging stations, how to plan and lay out a reasonable amount of space will test the wisdom of each place.

In the 2017 “Electric Vehicle Centennial”, Volkswagen China President and CEO Heitzman pointed out that although China’s developed expressway network is crowded with electric car charging piles, the maximum power of these charging piles is only about 40KW, and the cruising range is 300 kilometers. It takes 90 minutes for an electric car to fully charge.

Therefore, high-power charging or will be another development focus of new energy car charging in 2018. Insiders pointed out that studies have shown that when the driving range reaches 500 kilometers and charging time is controlled within 15 minutes, most people can fully accept electric vehicles. This is the research direction of high-power charging.

Li Zhigang said that for high-power charging, foreign research has made great progress, for example, they use a special cooling technology, the current can reach 400A, but the weight of the cable is lighter than the original.

The China Electric Power Enterprise Association is also developing relevant standards for high-power charging. However, even with the advent of the era of high-powered charging stations, there may be some low-power charging vehicles. The charging network must also be a multi-power hybrid layout to meet the needs of different models and scenarios.

Liu Yongdong told reporters that high-power charging and existing charging facilities will be a long-term parallel relationship and not a substitute. The demand for cars varies from person to person and from city to city. In terms of standard setting, compatibility with existing charging facilities will also be considered.

China's electric car hundred people have conducted discussions on high-power charging. Some experts pointed out that if the voltage is increased to 1000V, if the vehicle is still charged with a 350V voltage platform, the power consumption of the existing technical solution will be less than 1/1. 3. Therefore, it is recommended that manufacturers of charging piles should lay out the research and development of flexible smart charging technology in advance, and consider compatibility of wide-range power and maintain high-efficiency in the entire range of charging mode.

Li Zhigang said that in the future, there is hope that the charging time will be reduced to less than 10 minutes and it will be close to the time for refueling. Charging stations become like gas stations and may become a long-term trend.
