1. GKN GKN (Na Tiefu)The GKN GKN China joint venture (Natiefu) will produce the latest electric drive bridge (eDrive) technology at the Shanghai plant, placing the motor, inverter and eAxle gearbox in the same package space.
The optimized electric shaft drive system has been equipped in small cars and uses a lightweight design of the transmission components to achieve a 12.5:1 gear ratio, which is designed to accommodate higher motor speeds. The system can provide up to 2000Nm of torque and 70kW of power, enough to achieve a maximum speed of 125km / h in pure electric mode. In addition, in all-wheel drive (AWD) mode, the pure electric mode is much more powerful than the traditional mechanical system. The weight of the whole set is only 20.2kg and the volume is small. The length, width and height are 457mm, 229mm and 259mm respectively, which is easy to install in a limited space.
When a pure electric or hybrid drive is not required, the motor can be disconnected from the drive train by an integrated shut-off device that uses an electromechanical drive clutch. GKN also optimized gear and bearing arrangements for greater efficiency, better NVH performance and durability.
